Parmesan Green Beans and Peppers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C
Place the green beans and bell pepper slices in a large bowl
Add the olive oil and minced garlic
Toss the vegetables until they are well covered
Place the vegetables on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper so that they are all in one layer
Add pepper and salt to taste
Put the green beans in an oven that has already been heated and roast them for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly caramelized
Take the vegetables out of the oven and top them with grated Parmesan cheese
Place the baking sheet back in the oven and roast for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts and turns golden brown
Take it out of the oven and serve right away as a simple and tasty low-carb side dish
