Dr. Pepper Crockpot Meatballs
These Dr. Pepper meatballs in the crockpot are deliciously sweet and savory. Theyre great for parties or dinners during the week. Dr. Pepper, ketchup, and brown sugar make a rich and tangy sauce that coats juicy meatballs and makes them so tasty that you cant stop eating them.
Ingredients:
- 1 package frozen meatballs about 24-30 meatballs
- 1 can 12 ounces Dr
- Pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
In a slow cooker, combine Dr
Pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Stir until well combined
Add frozen meatballs to the slow cooker, stirring to coat them with the sauce
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, or until meatballs are heated through and sauce has thickened
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water until smooth
Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking to thicken the sauce
Once meatballs are cooked and sauce has thickened, serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired
